OUR FRIEND: Andrew Wiggins is shining. From winning the 2015 NBA Rookie of the Year Award to getting a cosign from Drizzy Drake himself, 2015 has been quite the year for Minnesota Timberwolves forward Andrew Wiggins. The 20 year old Toronto native has emerged as the new centerpiece of a franchise that has not made the playoffs for 11 straight years. Wiggins has gone from being a rookie whose intensity was initially questioned to a consistent force in the league, forcing everyone to take notice. This dedication and growth displayed by the Timberwolves and led by Wiggins, is similar to the thriving creative industries seen within Portland, Oregon - spurred by a driven and eclectic group of creatives who wish to create a paradigm shift in the way people perceive Portlandians (we aren’t all like the caricatures displayed on IFC’s Portlandia). Our homies at Kamp Grizzly, have long been leading this charge. We were fortunate enough to host them as they shot Adidas’ #ImaginedBy campaign featuring a new design created by the man himself - Andrew Wiggins.
